Standing on the Saluting Platform at Portsmouth, I was amazed to see a tall ship heading into The Solent. I don't know her name but on the fore-topsail are the words Sea Cadets.
It was not hard for me to image the ships of the Napolenonic era passing in front of the Saluting Battery - all that was missing was the guns.
